On next week’s new episode of “Hart of Dixie,” it appears as though someone is going to be fighting the law; and using the classic song as a reference point, the law seems to be very much winning.
So what are we specifically talking about here? Let’s just say that thanks to her own desperation to make a living for herself, or possibly just some sort of need to act out after being sheltered and taken care of by her father for almost all of her entire life, she is going to find herself potentially arrested over the sort of petty crime that many people who are short on cash get caught doing: shoplifting. What’s going to happen to her as a result? We don’t know, but this could be problematic for a number of reasons.
First things first, you have to remember that Lemon just asked Lavon if she could help out on his campaign for Mayor, and if he was to say yes before the news broke about Lemon getting in trouble, that is some seriously bad news for him. In addition to that, there’s also the problem of Lemon and the Breeland family’s reputation; before this, she had the sympathy of everyone in the world as the woman who George left at the altar in order to pursue Zoe. How in the world are the townspeople of Bluebell going to look at her now?
Do you think that Lemon really will be getting arrested, and are you predicting some serious consequences for some other characters as a result?
