Do you want to see some more of what is going on at the moment on the “Game of Thrones” set in Morocco? Luckily, some new videos making the rounds at least give you an idea on something that is rather exciting: the costumes, which are certainly beyond fantastic and are even an evolution from some of what we have seen on the show in the past.
Both videos only last for about ten seconds, but they show us a handful of characters filming in what is going to be on the show their interpretation of the city of Astapor, whether it be Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), Iain Glen (Jorah), and some soldiers patrolling the city streets. We’re happy that there are no plot spoilers thrown in here, but admittedly we are also happy at the mere fact that production is giving so many people in the city of Essaouira the opportunity to actually see a production like this in action. We often take the glamour of television for granted here in North America, but being a part of something like this is something that can brighten up a day, a month, or even a year.
Clarke and the rest of production will be spending at least a good portion of the rest of the month shooting in the city, and following that they will move along to some of their other destinations, which will primarily be located in Iceland. Considering that filming here will hardly be in a place as populated as Morocco, we doubt that we will get the same sort of video coverage of the stellar costume work.
