Good Trouble season 2 episode 5 preview: Mariana, Evan face rumors

What’s coming up on Good Trouble season 2 episode 5? For Mariana and Evan, it’s an uncomfortable situation. There have been questions about the relationship that the two have at Spekulate (or speculation, if you will) for a little while among fans. It’s a tough dynamic that the show has to work with since even rumors about it at work can cause problems for Mariana at work. She could be subject to unfair treatment, harsh comments, and a whole lot more — and that’s without her even doing anything other than having good rapport with her boss.

The title for this episode is “Happy Heckling,” but we think that this is meant more as a reference to what’s happening with Alice than anything that is going on with Mariana. Callie attends a networking mixer that causes her to confront some perceptions about herself. Mariana’s close relationship with Evan sparks rumors at Spekulate offices. Meanwhile, Alice encounters one of her idols at a queer comedy club where she’s attempting to get her standup career off the ground.

So within this episode, you’re going to see a story that is all about overcoming various obstacles. For Alice, a big part of that is going to be about recognizing that a life in comedy is going to be hard. There are a lot of people who will be mean to her onstage and you have to develop a thick skin. In comedy, you need to have complete control on your environment at almost all times.

As for Callie’s story, maybe this is a chance for her to become an even stronger person over time. One of the things that’s so great about knowing her from the beginning of The Fosters onward is that there aren’t many ways in which the show can surprise us with this character anymore. we know her well and because we understand so many of her strengths and flaws, that makes telling those stories on television all the more powerful.
