‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: Another ‘Godparent’ video

Just in case you did not have enough fun with the “who wants to be a godparent?” game that we saw played during the last sneak peek for Monday night’s new “How I Met Your Mother,” we now have another sneak peek worth celebrating when it comes to a story that should at least bring some solid entertainment.

Sadly, this new promo will not really give you that much in the way of new scoop for the episode … that is, unless you like watching one Barney Stinson sing a rather inappropriate version of “The Wheels on the Bus” while wearing a driver’s costume. He certainly seems to be the one trying the hardest to win the honor to look after baby Marvin throughout his life, but this does not mean in the slightest that he is going to ultimately be the person to end up “winning” the title.

The one thing that is troubling us about this promo and the other one for this episode is really pretty simple: why are we not seeing an explanation about why they are only searching for one godparent? We would have thought that Robin was going to be an automatic lock for one of the two titles, but that has not ended up being the case. Instead, we have seen a situation here where it seems as though either she, Barney, or Ted will end up getting the grand prize.
