‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 3 review: Amy marks her territory

This week on “The Big Bang Theory,” we saw Amy Farrah Fowler wipe Sheldon’s phone all over her armpit. We decided that this would be the best way to start this review, mostly so that you could have that image ingrained in your head for a little while.

So why was she doing this? It all came as a result of Sheldon hiring a new female assistant named Alex, and she was slightly disturbed when she found out that this was a woman rather than a man. She went on a patrol in order to figure out if she was going to be making a move on him, and she didn’t. As for Leonard, that was a completely different story. He was more or less interested in setting up Raj with her, even though she was far more interested in him.

The one major downside to the story this week was that it was pretty obvious from the get-go that Leonard was not going to be cheating on his girlfriend. Therefore, this was really just a story all about insecurity, and it led to Penny actually making a rare move on her boyfriend after having so much hesitancy last week. As for the other storyline, it was mostly just silly in seeing how far off the deep end Howard was going in space. Expect some real development to happen when he returns home from space next week, as he is going to finally face what happens when he tells multiple women that he plans to continue living with each of them.

Do you think that this episode really delivered, and are you hoping that Sheldon’s assistant will turn up again?
