ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: What’s next for Emily, Daniel?

There’s going to be some crazy stuff happening on “Revenge” fairly soon; and to the surprise of no one, you should expect Emily Thorne to be involved with it in some way.

So what’s going on this time? Really, we are looking at a man who Emily used to be more than a little bit close to in Daniel along with Ashley, who, based on actress Ashley Madekwe’s comments recently to TVLine, are going to be getting closer than ever on this coming season. However, it also sounds like she is still not going to be completely honest about her past to him or anyone else:

“We know where she says she’s from, but we don’t know if she’s lying … We don’t know how she got to the Hamptons, what she’s doing there or who she’s really working for.”

So will Emily really try to get that involved here? We are currently saying that it is unlikely, if for no other reason than that she is going to be getting very much involved in a different sort of relationship altogether … one that also involves series newcomer Barry Sloane playing the role of a rather mysterious man from Emily’s past. We don’t really know how long he is going to be around for, but it should give her something else to think about other than just trying to pump Victoria for information as to the whereabouts of her mother.
