The Blacklist season 6 episode 20 preview: Is Liz making a change?

Next week, The Blacklist season 6 episode 20 is coming onto NBC and bringing with it “Gulliermo Rizal” — a man who is clearly going to be the next person of interest for either the Task Force or Reddington. To go along with this, though, you could also end up seeing a very different journey for one Liz Keen.

It’s obviously clear at the moment that much of the path for these characters is rather different than what it was at the start of the season. Reddington now knows about the betrayal, and there are more clues coming in terms of other mysteries — both now and also many weeks from now. While we’ve covered a lot of ground, there’s even more coming! Think in terms of other reveals and then also an opportunity to shake things up again moving into a season 6. (Isn’t it nice to know already that we’re getting that? We at least like to think so.)

For some more news now surrounding what’s coming, we suggest that you check out our official The Blacklist season 6 episode 20 synopsis below:

05/03/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : When multiple children are abducted under similar circumstances, the Task Force rushes to find the kidnapper. Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) goes on the hunt for a man who can find anything, while Liz (Megan Boone) considers a big change. Joel de la Fuente, Jennifer Ferrin, Teddy Coluca and Ben Horner guest star. TV-14 V

The further that this particular storyline goes, the more we imagine that we’re going to some emotional turns … but also no clear resolution. Take, for example, on the subject of Anna McMahon. She’s been a key point of conflict in the story as of late, but there is still a little bit more story to tell here with her. How much so? Think in terms of episode 21, which is fittingly titled “Anna McMahon.” That part of the story, at least, is going to carry through until we get to the finale.

As this point in The Blacklist, anything goes — that’s why Liz contemplating a “big change” at this point hardly comes as a surprise. After all that she has been through, why wouldn’t she start thinking a little bit more towards what her life and future could look like? We know that she’s been pretty immersed within the world of the FBI and Reddington, but maybe she’ll opt for a new perspective or even a change of life at some point. Remember that she hasn’t seen her daughter Agnes in what seems like a long time — when do you think that this is going to change? She’s good at her job, but this is also a job that seems to be a near-constant stream of danger and peril for her.
