‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Notes on Cory Monteith’s Finn, Melissa Benoist’s Marley

At this point, we may as well all admit it: we’re sad about the fact that so many of our favorite couples on “Glee” are now over. However, as they often say in the world of entertainment, the show must go on. Plus, we know that there are still plenty of exciting things coming up for some of these characters.

So is there hope still for some of these couples, including Cory Monteith’s Finn and Lea Michele’s Rachel? Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Brad Falchuk admits that these are a pair of people that he is especially attached to, and with that in mind, he does leave it very clear that we are still at a stage where anything can happen for “Finchel,” “Klaine,” or any other couple happening on the show:

“Nothing is set in stone … For now things are different. But that there’s an enormous amount of love there, so there’s a great chance of a lot of them getting back together.”

While we are waiting for some more news pertaining to what happens with some of these couples, we will have some more scenes revolving around some new faces at McKinley High. E! News reports that we are going to find out much more about Marley (Melissa Benoist) through some upcoming scenes, especially in some flashbacks as we see just what kind of person she was back when she was seven or eight years old. Anything that gives us more of the relationship between her and her mother is something that we certainly have to be excited about.

What do you want to see happen the most over the next couple of episodes, at least if we are making the impression that the couples are all going to stay apart for at least a little while?
