‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: See Marshall and Lily cry (video)

In just one day, a new episode of “How I Met Your Mother” is going to be upon us; and with that, we are going to be seeing all sorts of hilarity courtesy of Marshall and Lily.

For really the very first time since this season started up, we are going to finally see Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan’s characters take center stage. Why now? It really has a great deal to do with the fact that they need a break from their son Marvin, especially after losing so much sleep in between trying to care for him while simultaneously keeping up with something even remotely resembling a personal life. This is not an easy task, which is why we are going to be seeing a nanny enter the picture for the first time.

However, as this promo (which also includes a peek at Monday night’s new “Partners” effectively shows), this is not going to be as easy of a task as you would hope. As a matter of fact, one esteemed nanny’s rates are going to be bringing our new parents to tears. What are they ultimately going to do here? That’s a good question, since neither party is particularly wealthy; in addition to that, neither one of them has a great idea as to how to do everything that they want to do in the span of one day. Our dream solution? They they just have more parties at their own apartment rather than going out to McLaren’s, and that Ted, Robin, and Barney come over there more often than not.
