Curious to learn the SWAT season 2 episode 19 return date? Well, we’ve got that for you within this article!
Also, we’ve got another unfortunate reminder that we’re about to go ’round and ’round the repeat carousel all over again. We just got done with a hiatus because of the NCAA Tournament and now, we’re getting another one. The good news is that it’s a short one. There is a new episode coming in just a week’s time on Thursday, April 18 and in it, you’re going to have a story that is very much about an abduction, a home invasion, and a case for Street that turns personal. You’re also going to see Debbie Allen on the show again, and we remain 100% curious how she’s found a way to be able to jump between this show and Grey’s Anatomy as much as she has this season. (Given that she’s an executive producer on the medical drama, that probably makes it a little bit easier.)
Below, CarterMatt offers up the SWAT season 2 episode 19 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming:
“Invisible” – The abduction of Luca and Street’s neighbor sends the SWAT team in pursuit of a home invasion crew targeting domestic workers to gain entry into upscale homes. Also, the SWAT division prepares to help Mumford mark a major career milestone, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, April 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Debbie Allen guest stars as Charice Harrelson, Hondo’s mother.
So why are we having to wait? Well, the short answer here is that there are only four episodes left this season and CBS obviously wants some of them to air in the month of May. We also feel like they’re going to want to air them with fewer breaks in between so that there can be some sort of real escalation between one episode and the next. This is the sort of show that could easily throttle you with a big ending, the sort that you’ll scream at your TV over while also pining away for whatever could be coming up in a possible season that follows.
But, we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves just yet. April 18’s going to have its own challenges, though we do always smile when there’s some celebratory personal stuff … and it definitely seems like there is coming up in regards to what’s happening with Mumford. What’s not to love about that, and seeing potentially some other characters rally around them in a particularly fun way?
