Animal Kingdom season 4 premiere date, trailer revealed

Animal Kingdom season 3

If you find yourselves interested in learning the official Animal Kingdom season 4 premiere date at TNT, we come bearing great news!

Today, the network confirmed that come Tuesday, May 28, the drama series is going to be back in action — a date that really should surprise no one. For years now, TNT has opted to launch their show on the Tuesday following Memorial Day and clearly, this year is no exception. It’s also quite brilliant on the network’s part, since it has a chance to take a pretty gigantic piece of the pie at a time in which that pie is ripe for the taking. It’s smart, and it’s allowing then to continue to produce the same sort of impressive ratings we’ve seen for Animal Kingdom over the past couple of years.

Is this the part of the article where we say that you should really be watching Animal Kingdom? Well, here it is — this is a show totally worth your time. It’s gritty, it’s intense, and it actually feels like the TV version of Grand Theft Auto V these days.

To go along with the announcement of the premiere date, today TNT also unveiled their latest trailer for what’s coming up this go-around. The end of last season teased that a war is coming with Smurf on one side and J on the other; now, it seems as though that war is escalating. With Smurf, you’ve got someone who is smart, savvy, and also super-cutthroat. She understands the world of high crime better than anyone, but what she’s failed to really grasp is that in continuing to bring along J and the rest of the Cody points, they’re getting to a point now where they’ve come to realize that they really do not need her anymore. The story is changing and we’re getting a chance to see the boys try to take more power … and then Smurf also try to fight it. These characters are going to butt heads and the end result of it is going to be incredibly dramatic. We can easily see them trying to phase Ellen Barkin’s character out of the operation entirely … but we’re not 100% at the moment that they are really going to be capable of doing that. It’s certainly feasible that she’s going to find another way to eke herself into the operation and cause even more chaos.

Or, consider this — may Smurf ends up finding a new crime-causing coalition of her own. Within the complicated world of Animal Kingdom, we have to be cognizant and recognize that really, just about anything is possible. Also, we recognize just how excited we are to see so much of it unravel.
