Is Blue Bloods new tonight on CBS? Season 9 episode 18 teases

Blue Bloods season 9

Is Blue Bloods new tonight on CBS? We know that we’re always down for getting more adventures from the Reagan family, and how could we not? This is a family who is loving and kind, but when they need to they can take down bad guys, they can with the utmost force and strength. This is not a family to be trifled with … though the drama is one of the reasons we love this show so. That’s the crazy thing about this show — we live for the drama as it’s an essential part of the show, but we also don’t want to see the Reagans suffer. That back-and-forth is one of the reasons why this show is so fundamentally interesting.

Unfortunately, there is no new Blue Bloods coming onto CBS tonight, just as there is also no new episode airing next week, either. The reason for that is fundamentally quite simple: The NCAA Tournament is on the air. CBS does this ever year so we imagine that you’re probably acutely aware of some of the patterns already. You have to deal with the break before you dive into the home stretch!

Here is where things are at the moment when it comes to the Reagans — we’ve got five more episodes still to come this season. Will these be the final five for the series? Probably not. We’ve got a feeling that a season 10 renewal will be coming — it could even be out there before the show comes back on the air! We’re hoping for a Jamie/Eddie wedding, and beyond that, we’re also acutely aware of the impending return of Lou Diamond Phillips.

While we await the return of the show to CBS, we’ve got a few different teases now for what lies ahead below!

For Frank – It appears as though we’re going to be seeing him debate trying to institute a more vigorous training program for the NYPD. Why? It has to do with an incident in the field regarding an officer — otherwise known as the same sort of reason in which some of these decisions come into play.

For Danny – He’s got to figure out what he wants to do with a cold case — everything was going well for him, at least until he learned who the original NYPD detective was working on the case. It’s chance that this could be a controversial officer, or someone who was connected to his past.

For Erin – She’s got a big case ahead tied to Anthony, who is going to try to slow down a murder trial in order to see if she can gather a little bit more evidence.

For Jamie – There will be some tension that unravels between him and Eddie, largely because of her wanting to take part in a fraternal organization.
