The Blacklist season 6 episode 11 preview: Reddington’s life in danger
To go along with this article, we’ve also got a new video discussing all things related to The Blacklist below! For some more news, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube right away.
Let’s just start by discussing that title alone. We know Moreau (otherwise known as the Corsican) to be a bad dude — a really bad dude, in fact. This is an assassin fueled by a taste for violence and, based on where he was earlier this season, an urge for vengeance. He’s going to make a big move next week, and as anyone who plays chess knows, with every move comes a counter.
Will this country be made in time? Almost certainly! We’re not going to sit here and insult your intelligence by insinuating that Reddington is actually going to die … it’s hard to envision any situation that is remotely close to that. We think the question that you need to be wondering entering this episode is how he will make it through and whether or not he will owe someone any favors. If you know us, then you know that what we are going to root for here is the juiciest, most dramatic outcome possible. Therefore, wouldn’t it be interesting if Liz is the only reason why Reddington survives this episode — and, in turn, Reddington finds himself in an impossible spot in the event he learns she betrayed him? He’ll be angry, sure, but how angry can he be when he remembers that she is the only reason why he’s alive?
Update: This may prove to be the case, mostly because it’s actually not Moreau who is out to kill him — it may be the Federal Government by lethal injection, judging from the end of tonight’s episode.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the latest The Blacklist season 6 episode 12 with a little more insight:
03/15/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force make a play to uncover the truth about an international assassination in a last-ditch effort to save Red’s (James Spader) life. Christopher Lambert, Jennifer Ferrin and Benito Martinez guest star. TV-14 V
What’s also worth noting…
“Bastien Moreau” next week is not an isolated episode. It’s the first of a two-parter, with the second part coming on March 22. (There are times when we wish The Blacklist would label their episodes “Part 1” and “Part 2” like everyone else — until this week, we thought that this was just a one-episode affair until it came out that the March 22 episode was entitled “Bastien Moreau: Conclusion.” Is that really too much to ask? Apparently so.)
Title semantics aside, we loathe Moreau with every fabric of our being. With that in mind, we’re just happy to have a showdown to take this guy down. You don’t have to kill him, just lock in prison or something!
