NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 18 spoilers: Nell’s sister returns

NCIS: Los Angeles

There’s a chance you know that NCIS: Los Angeles is going to be featuring the wedding of Deeks and Kensi on March 17 … but what comes on the other side of that? Will there be a honeymoon episode or at least some remnants of the ceremony?

Well, for now, CBS is keeping a tight lid on all things wedding-related … which does make sense, mostly from the vantage point that you want to do your part to ensure viewers watch that episode. If you give the game away now, there is less you can reveal down the road! What seems clear about NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 18 airing on Sunday, March 24 is that it could be the biggest episode that we’ve seen for a while with Nell — something that we’re super-cool with, given that this character hasn’t had too many spotlights as of late. Introducing her sister Sydney was a stroke of genius for the writers when it comes to creating new stories. She’s also got a background in law enforcement so it’s always easy to bring her in for another case — it’s just always the most interesting when they’re somewhat personal at the same time. This one coming up appears to be, so you’re going to have a chance here to dive into the sisterly dynamic between the two from many years back. We definitely do welcome any opportunity to dive deeper into these characters.

Want a little more insight now as to why Sydney is back? Then we suggest checking out the official NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 18 synopsis:

“Born to Run” – Sydney (Ashley Rae Spillers) turns to her sister Nell for help after her high school crush, Andre Martinez (Delon de Metz), is mixed up in a Russian plot to steal intelligence from the Department of Defense. Also, Special Prosecutor John Rogers (Peter Jacobson) conducts mandatory performance reviews with the team, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The one thing that we wonder with this sort of episode comes via the John Rogers story — do we really need to dive into this again? Is there all that much of a need to go into more performance reviews? Ochoa already gave a personal stamp of approval and we don’t know just how many other different people there need to be who gives the team a wink and a nod. They’re clearly capable of doing their job since otherwise, there would all be dead at this point. We’re not even just talking dead as a result of what happened at the end of season 9 — just dead in general. Think about all of the explosions, close calls, and nail-biters they have all gone through over the past several years. It is remarkable that all of them are still standing.
