NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 17 spoilers: Densi wedding drama
It’s inevitable that there would be some hard times coming right before Deeks and Kensi say their vows — it’s a staple of any crime-TV wedding ever. You want to give the episode enough time for there to be romance, but you’ve gotta also throw some sort of crazy, dramatic wrinkle in there, as well. You want to do everything within your power to make viewers think that the wedding won’t happen, even if it almost certainly will. It’s largely a function of trying to do whatever you can to create high stakes.
This, of course, brings you to the following question when it comes to Deeks and Kensi — who’d be willing to show up at the last minute and cause chaos? It’s someone who would have a pretty specific reason to do so — they want some of the limelight and, beyond that, they want to be hurtful. This is where Anatoli Kirkin comes into play. He’s making his first appearance of the year in this episode … and he’s coming in hot.

“Till Death Do Us Part” – After months of planning, the NCIS family celebrates the wedding of Kensi and Deeks. Also, an old acquaintance, Anatoli Kirkin (Ravil Isyanov), pays Deeks a surprise visit on his wedding day and he isn’t alone, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 17 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
While we’re sure that there will be moments where your heart pounds and the sweat starts to roll down your forehead, we don’t quite think that the entire episode is meant to stress you to the max. By the end of the episode, we’re sure that there will be some moments to smile and celebrate something that is so many years in the making. As eager as we’ve been for this, we have to think that the cast has felt the same way. They pay attention to the fans and know what they want. They know that they’re diving into something here that is so much more than your standard hour of television.
Buckle up, and prepare to cry — maybe they will be nervous tears but, by the end of the episode, we’re hoping they’ll be happy ones.
