Obviously, we’re eager for SEAL Team season 2 episode 14 to arrive as soon as humanly possible. Alas, we’re totally at the mercy of whatever CBS wants to do when it comes to the show’s schedule. They have a reason for everything (in theory), so we gotta believe that there’s a reason why the return date was just pushed back.
Originally, the plan here was for the David Boreanaz drama to be back on Wednesday, March 13, which excited us mostly in that it’s just over two weeks away as of this writing! Unfortunately, it’s now going to be coming on March 20. You can see confirmation of the change in the new post below via the show’s official account.
The remaining nine episodes of season 2 are likely going to bring a lot of exciting stuff to the table, including intense action, difficult missions, and also poignant, emotional stuff featuring all of the main characters. We’ve seen some great performances this season from Boreanaz, AJ Buckley, and some other cast members; we don’t believe that this is going to change at some point in the near future, and nor should it if they keep getting quality scripts.
Because of this shift in return date, it is a little bit easier to map out the rest of the season! For those of you who are schedule junkies, maybe you’ll appreciate this kind of like we do! The finale is probably going to air now on Wednesday, May 15, and in order to make that happen, CBS is going to have to air a new episode every week from March 20 onward. That means no breaks or hiatuses, and this also means that the Survivor: Edge of Extinction finale is probably going to air on Wednesday, May 22 as a three-hour event. It’s the same thing that you’ve seen with this show time and time again.
When will some more details finally be revealed?
Hopefully, it’s going to happen sooner rather than later. It helps the show to give it a good rollout; it’s certainly going to need one after this long of a break! The obvious thing to be concerned about is that SEAL Team has been floating off in TV space for some time, and for the more casual viewers, they may just think that it’s done for the year and isn’t going to land again anytime soon. They’ll need to have some reminders. That’s especially true when you think about the new timeslot at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday nights. That comes with its own fair share of challenges, but haven’t we seen Jason Hayes and the rest of his crew rise to the occasion before? This is another opportunity to do just that and deliver.
Want some other news when it comes to SEAL Team?
If you didn’t know, Boreanaz is going to be directing an upcoming episode! It’s the second one of the series that he’s taking on in this capacity. That’s something that you can read a little bit more about over at the link here.
