‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Howard’s return date revealed

We knew going into this season of “The Big Bang Theory” that Howard was going to remain in orbit for at least the first couple of episodes, and while he was there, trouble of all sorts is going to be brewing at home. After all, how long does this guy really think that he can get away with having his mother believe that he is going to keep living with her, while Bernadette at the same time thinks that they are moving out? This is not the land of make believe, and considering all the time that they are spending together, you have to some that Bernadette is going to talk with her mother-in-law.

Thanks to a new press release issued by CBS, we now know for certain that Howard’s return is going to come in the fourth episode of the season entitled “The Re-Entry Reniminsation,” and we also know that he is not going to have the sort of greeting that he was probably hoping for following such a stretch of time away:

“When Wolowitz returns from space, he doesn’t get the hero’s welcome he expected. Meanwhile, Game Night turns into a battle of the sexes.”

The release does list Ken Lerner as a guest star playing Dr. Schneider, which to us means that we are going to see Howard’s mother already have a new man in her life by the time that he returns home. While we are happy for her that she has someone else to yell at, we also wonder if producers are going to take the easy road out and make this the way in which Howard moves out from home. We’d much rather him actually have to deal with the problem himself, but given that Howard has a history of getting out of problems without much effort, it would not be that great of a shock if it happens again.

Do you think that Mrz. Wolowitz’s new man will help get Howard out the door?
