Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 14 promo: Betty’s life in danger

Really, it doesn’t matter if you call the character Betty or Brittany … either way, the point remains the same that this is a character who is facing some significant danger. The last that we saw this character, she had taken off from rehab and her parents were back at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Tensions flared up over Betty’s son, mostly because Owen is desperate to hold onto him. He loves him, but we have a feeling that we are going to see a rather-unfortunate ending to this saga for him if it continues down this road.
However, with Betty’s condition now we’ve got a feeling that the focus is going to shift once more. Now, we are gearing up for an episode that is very much all about trying to make sure that she is okay. Amelia’s done her best to try and make her better but, judging from the end of the promo below, it seems as though some of these efforts could end up being in vain. She may feel like it’s a failure on her part if something happened and Amelia overdosed, but it’s really not. There’s sometimes only so much you can do for someone, and there’s no guarantee as to why Betty’s life is on the line in the first place.
Odds are, this is an episode of the series that is going to get you choked up if you’ve been following Amelia’s story closer. We do love the work of Caterina Scorsone on the show, and it’s a difficult struggle — we want to see her get great material as an actress, but we also want to see Amelia happy. Often, some of the best material as an actor is going to be some of the darker stuff. That’s just the way of things, for better or for worse.
Amelia is going to need to rely on Owen over the course of this episode — we just hope that he is going to be able to be there properly given what he is going through.
