House of the Dragon season 3: More big Matt Smith teases

In just over 24 hours you are going to see the House of the Dragon season 3 premiere arrive in all of its glory — why not set the table more now?
Obviously, one of the many reasons why the HBO hit is so exceptional is that they have as deep of a bench of any show out there, at least in terms of notable characters. From what we are hearing at present, there is no evidence this is going to change! Early on this season we are going to bear witness to the epic Battle of the Gullet and on the other side of that, who knows just how chaotic we are going to see things become? That is something else that does excite us greatly.

If nothing else, we know that at some point this season, you are going to get once again a version of Daemon Targeryan that should excite you greatly. We know that there was a ton of criticism surrounding his story last season and honestly, for good reason. How else can you explain that he spent a good chunk of the story away from everyone else?
Yet, moving forward, it does appear to be changing. Just look at what he had to say recently to The Today Show on the subject:
“He’s back in the belly of the beast, he’s got his sword in his hand, he’s got blood on his soul … You know, he’s back. He’s back fighting, he’s back starting wars, he’s back doing what Daemon does, which is take souls, man. Take souls, take people down.”
With this, we are significantly more excited for what lies ahead. This season does have a high bar to meet after the success of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms — let’s just hope now that it is more than ready to step up to the plate.
What are you most hyped to see at this point entering House of the Dragon season 3?
Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do just that, remember to also come back — there are a number of other updates coming and of course, we do not want you to miss any of them.
