Cross season 3 premiere date: A June 2026 update
Is there any chance that we are going to hear a little bit more regarding Cross season 3 between now and the end of June? We certainly do not blame anyone who does want a few more details on what the next chapter could look like, especially since the first two go-arounds on Prime Video were so successful. Also, this is a property that has fans dating back many years, and there has to be a desire to see how events will play out on-screen.
Unfortunately, this is where we do have to come in here with both the good and bad news. Where do we start? Well, it is worth noting from the get-go that the show is probably not going to be sharing any release-date intel for quite some time, which makes a ton of sense given that production is still underway. We are going to be waiting a while for what is ahead, even if we wish that this wasn’t the case. Our feeling, at least for now, is that a spring or summer 2027 launch feels incredibly likely here.

In the interim of getting any major release-date updates, why not at least share more of what the story could be moving forward? Speaking (per Deadline) recently, here is what showrunner Ben Watkins had to say:
“We need to see this character confronting a different challenge about himself and the people around him, and in Season 3 we have this conversation about addiction because Cross as a detective is really addicted to the hun … That became a nice theme for us to play with. When you think about people who are addicted and the impact they have, it doesn’t have to be narcotics or alcohol.”
