‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2 spoilers: Zoe, Wade, and George collide in sneak peek

Do you want to take a look at some of the first footage from the “Hart of Dixie” season premiere? Let’s hope so, since we have a sneak peek for you below that we can describe for you in just one word: awkward. As in, really, really awkward.

The new clips starts out with Zoe getting an unsurprising visit from George while out, and he decides to engage in a little bit of sweet-talking while trying to plant a kiss on her. Sadly for him, the problem is that she resists using a rather lame excuse that she has “quite a bit to process.” The translation here? She hasn’t told him yet that she slept with Wade just moments before she saw him during last season’s finale.

If there is one moment that makes us spontaneously loathe George while at the same time have our heart melt for him, it is when he reminds Zoe that he left his wife-to-be Lemon in order to be with her … but even this does not cool the doctor’s heart. Before anything else can happen here between the three of them, Wade enters the picture and starts to cast some uncomfortable glances over everyone.

In our mind, the situation Tuesday night is going to act out as follows: both George and Wade are going to treat Zoe like she is their girlfriend in front of each other, and the two will manage to figure this out without wasting too much time in deep thought over it. After all, it should be pretty obvious just what is going on here even to people who were not so invested in the situation.
