NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 12 review: Deeks, Kensi’s honeymoon spot

NCIS: Los Angeles

What happened to a woman named Valerie Torres on NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 12? Well, an incident involving her ended up having some far-reaching consequences. She was a weapons chief at a Naval weapons institution and with that, you had access and understanding of some really dangerous materials. When something happens to a person like her, you know that it’s going to be trouble.

So how bad did the investigation tonight ended up being? Let’s just say that by the end of the episode, we found the team in a position where a weapon of mass destruction could be involved and they were the only ones with the capability of stopping an attack that could turn deadly. This is a case that we’ve seen in some shape or form on the show already, with the team having to do whatever they can to fire off guns and/or explosives to ensure that they could safe the better part of the world. (The team was successful … even though they may be a little hard of hearing for a little while.)

Probably the best part of this investigation was actually back at the office, as Eric and Nell ended up having a little bit of a spat in the midst of the case. These two are usually so in-sync that when they weren’t, it was pretty obvious that there was a problem.

Deeks and Kensi’s honeymoon solution

The two have decided that they are going to go to … Peru! They looked at a few different options, whether it be Hawaii, Italy, or just randomly selecting one of the continents. They wanted to do something that could be romantic to them, while at the same time active. There is an opportunity that they have here in order to give back to people in need, and that is a big incentive in order for them to go there. Look at how great these two are! They’re using their honeymoon for the greater good.

Of course, Deeks and Kensi need to find a way in order to get some more people in the bar first. It was pretty empty at the end of the episode and that’s going to be a work in process.

CarterMatt Verdict

Do we wish that there was more in terms of Callen and Anna tonight, especially after what we got from them in the fall? Sure, but at least this episode did further along another relationship … even if we don’t actually have a wedding date in the process.
