Blue Bloods season 9 episode 10 video: Is Erin having to fire someone?

Come Friday night’s Blue Bloods season 9 episode 10, you are going to get a chance to see a number of big stories. For Erin in particular, though, she may find herself in a situation that may leave a lot to be desired.

Based on the new preview that was released via CBS, it as though Erin, for the first time since really getting some of her new responsibilities on the job, is going to have to potentially dismiss someone working under her. She’s certainly more than capable of taking on this job, but that doesn’t mean that it’s something that is easy or particularly something that she is looking forward to doing. This is going to be a challenging thing for her to take on but, in the end, it’s also something that is emotional. These are people who you may want the best for, but sometimes, things get in the way of that and you have to pivot. You have to find a way to let someone go and then move forward, realizing that it probably won’t be the last time you have to do something like this.

The more that Erin moves up the ladder at the District Attorney’s office, the more that she is probably going to have to take on this particular job. It just comes with the territory and in the end, that’s just something that she will have to come to expect.

So what else is happening within this episode?

We don’t think that the promo below gives away all that much, but Frank Reagan is going to be working into overdrive in order to find a cop responsible for leaking a controversial video. Frank knows how to apply pressure and how to get things done at this point, so we absolutely hope that he can use every single tool in his arsenal in order to properly execute some of his specific plans here.

As for elsewhere, this episode is also going to bring to the table a storyline where Eddie will be working to retaliate against someone who is pranking Jamie — which is a great thing for a fiancée to do. As for whether or not it’s the right thing for someone to do when they are trying to keep their relationship mostly under wraps, that is a different sort of debate altogether.
