Lucifer season 4 gets a little bit of love in Jeopardy! form

In a new post on Twitter, series star Aimee Garcia shared a recent “answer” that was a part of Jeopardy!, one that seems to be steering contestants towards this very “question”: “What is Lucifer?”. It’s a fantastic little bit of love given to the series, and beyond that it does represent something greater. It shows the impact of the #SaveLucifer movement beyond just the show landing on Netflix. People came to know about the story in the mainstream, and hopefully a few of them even started to watch out of curiosity.
Often, it can be rather hard to gauge the mainstream impact of any TV series from an industry perspective, mostly because we find ourselves wrapped within a world that is all about shows, actors, and stories. Yet, Jeopardy! is not a TV industry show; it is one for trivia buffs of all shapes and sizes. Many other series have been featured in answers over the years, and it’s a nice way for the game-show to prove that it is at the forefront of almost everything that is going on.
Of course, we know that there is a question that many Lucifer viewers are pondering in their own right: When is season 4 coming back on the air? At the moment, there is no clear information on that at this particular moment. The table read for the finale happened this past week and with that, it’s fair to guess that filming may at least be complete by the end of the year. Following that, there is still a lot of post-production work that needs to be done including ADR sessions, editing, scoring, and the like. We imagine that much of that could be done in the first few months of the new year. It’s cruel to speculate too much about when season 4 could be out, mostly because we don’t want to create false hope for any particular time period. In the end, so much of it is just simply based on whenever Netflix decides that they want to get the series out there for viewers to enjoy.
