This Is Us season 3 episode 7 video: The early days of Jack & Rebecca
To be specific, you’re going to be heading back to a different time period than what we’ve seen that much of before: The early days of their relationship. We already know what happened the night that they met, and we’ve seen small glimpses of the aftermath of it. Now, though, we’re gearing up for what happened with the two of them soon after that, when they went on their first trip together. They were still getting to know each other, but at the same time there was an appeal and an allure there that was impossible for the two of them to ignore.
Yet, at the same time there was also some evidence already starting to form of the demons that were going to haunt Jack for many years — nightmares, presumably from what happened to him in Vietnam. There is still more of this time period that also has to be revealed, including just what happened after he traveled to see Nicky and also the role of the mystery woman that lived over there who was wearing the same necklace that Kevin has now. This episode seems to be full of emotional highs and lows, but remember along the way that we are going to get more of Jack in Vietnam soon, whether it be in this episode or at some other point down the road. We do also know that Kevin is heading over to the country, fulfilling what we saw in the flash-forward at the end of this past season hoping to get a better sense of what actually happened to him over there.
