Is Grey’s Anatomy new tonight? On season 15 episode 5, the future
Unfortunately, tonight does mark the first official hiatus of this season, and there is a pretty simple reason for this: ABC is using tonight in order to run some of their holiday programming, including their first airing this season of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It’s obviously a bummer for fans of the medical drama, but the network is obviously aware that they can handle a week off here and there. After all, Grey’s Anatomy runs 22-24 episodes a season, and it’s not like we’re losing a week in the episode order because of Charlie Brown. Those episodes are still coming a little bit down the road. (If you do love the Grey’s Extended Universe — or GEU, which we just made up — there is a new episode of Station 19 tonight.)

As for what we’re going to see moving forward this season, one of the most notable things (starting on October 25) will inevitably be the aftermath to Maggie telling Meredith about Teddy’s pregnancy. It’s a secret that she was only going to be able to keep for so long before it started to rise to the surface. The problem for Maggie is that she was told under HIPPA about the pregnancy and if Teddy’s angry enough about it coming out, there could be problems for her down the road. Major problems.
Yet, we’d be pretty shocked if anything shocking actually does happen. Teddy’s a rational person, and while she may have wanted to keep this a secret for as long as possible, there’s likely a major part of her that realizes that there was only so long that she could keep things this way. She’s going to want Owen to find out the truth about this eventually, though how he eventually reacts should prove interesting given that he’s pushed himself so much towards this family unit of sorts that he has formed with Amelia and the kids they are now looking after.
