NCIS season 16 episode 4 sneak peek: What happens when Gibbs is away?
Moving into Tuesday night’s new episode, Gibbs is off on vacation and with that, everyone is going to take advantage of an opportunity to have a little bit of fun. Of course, fun for some of these characters can mean totally different things. For Bishop, that means filling out a crossword; meanwhile, for Torres that means putting on some of his music and dancing around. McGee plays a first-person shooter on his phone, even though it feels clear that he is probably getting a great deal of action at his job as it is. If we were him, we’d probably play a game that is the total opposite of some of what he does at work.

Eventually and of course, there is an interruption at work as McGee gets a call about a situation down in the Carolinas about a great deal of stolen money — it’s something that the DC office is going to have to take on, so apparently, they’re going to have to head down and end their little vacation-of-sorts. They think that Gibbs is off somewhere relaxing, but we already know that this is not the case. While out in the woods, Gibbs will receive a visit from Fornell and they will find themselves roped into a case while out off the grid. Who wants to bet that all of this is going to end up tying together and Gibbs and the rest of the team will eventually join forces again/ It really just feels like the sort of thing that a show like this will do.
Beyond everything that we’ve already written here, we do also think that this NCIS sneak peek does help to also make a great case for any ‘shippers of Bishop and Torres who are out there.
