NCIS season 16 episode 4 video: Gibbs heads out into the woods

NCIS season 16 episode 4

NCIS season 16 episode 4 will be airing on CBS come Tuesday night, and with this one, you’re going to be seeing an outdoor case a little different than anything that we’ve seen before.

Basically, over the course of this episode Gibbs’ vacation is going to come to a rather-abrupt end, and mostly a really simple reason: A murder case that gets brought to his attention. This is not something that he can really forget about, and with that, of course he springs into action.

The new promo below does confirm that you will be seeing also a little bit more of some of the team back at NCIS proper, which we weren’t quite sure we were going to get based on some of the details alone. (Yet, it would be weird to have a full hour of Gibbs just out in the field with Fornell and not have any of the other main characters involved. We’re expecting some of them to eventually meet Gibbs out in the woods to help him out, but by that point, he may have had to do a bunch of the legwork itself.

The big appeal of this NCIS episode, at least for us, is getting a chance to see a more rustic case with characters taking very different trials and tribulations than anything that they are used to. Sometimes, the traditional case gets you accustomed to all of the traditional bells and whistles. Sometimes, it can be a good thing to reset and go back to your roots a little and remember some of the skills that helped you in order to become an agent in the first place. This may be that opportunity to shine.
