Poldark season 4 episode 4 preview (PBS): Ross returns home, but for long?

Poldark season 4 filming

Poldark season 4 episode 4 is coming up in a matter of one week on PBS, and it will contain a wide range of events. Ross Poldark is going to get a chance to come home to Cornwall and relax … but in the least surprising way possible, it’s not going to last. More problems will come up, and they could force him to make some moves and resume the new life he is getting used to.

Suffice it to say, this is going to be an adjustment period for the character — he needs to be a good politician but beyond just that, he also wants to be a good husband and he does care about his family. There are a lot of different things on his plate but he has to get used to it. We really don’t think that any of this is going to change when it comes to the character moving forward. He just has to figure out precisely how to balance everything … but also how to brace for some hard times. There are many coming, and not just for Ross — the same goes for the entirety of his family and loved ones.

Below, CarterMatt has the Poldark season 4 episode 4 synopsis with a little bit more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

While George continues plotting his return to Westminster, Ross is reunited with his family at home. Then tragedy strikes in Cornwall, forcing him from the quiet life into action again.

As we move forward this season, be prepared for some violent battles, some epic conversations, and then also some tear-jerking moments to go along with it. Want romance? Well, rest assured that Poldark is going to be bringing you a few more of those moments, as well — this is a show that knows where its bread is buttered, and no matter what, it won’t distance itself from that too much over the weeks ahead.
