Ballers season 5 premiere date hopes for Dwayne Johnson, cast
Let’s kick things off here, though, with a reminder that there is going to be a Ballers season 5 coming up on the premium-cable network in the future. This is not something that we ever doubted, mostly because this show is an enormous success story for HBO — it draws big ratings, and it also gets some attention just because of Dwayne Johnson star power. Why wouldn’t the network want to keep Ballers on the air? It also preserves a great relationship with Johnson so that they may be able to use him for some future projects moving into the future.
As for when season 5 is going to premiere, the best guess at the moment is that we will see it back at some point in the summer. This is when HBO has a tendency to air many of their new episodes, and we understand why given that this is really the sort of show that functions extremely well when it airs over the course of some of the summer months.
If you are wondering as to when we are going to be seeing HBO announce the premiere date for the new season, you are going to be waiting for a good while. If we’re lucky, we will get a chance to see some more information come out in the spring. That gives the network a few months to build up to the show coming back.
Is it possible that Ballers could be delayed further? It’s possible, mostly because Johnson is one of the busiest actors working at the moment and it’s very well possible that he could end up having something else on his schedule that causes the show to be pushed back.
