The Resident season 2 episode 3 video: What is Dr. Bell’s plan?

The Resident season 2

There are a number of things that we learn come The Resident season 2 episode 3, starting with Dr. Bell’s taste in music.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Conrad having a discussion with Bell when it comes to someone who impacts both of them greatly: Marshall. Conrad’s father has a history of controversial business practices, and in this case, it actually does feel like Conrad is trying to do everything that he can to convince Dr. Bell to pay attention to some of what he is saying about him. Does he actually want the two of them to work together? We’re not quite sure that we would say that, but it’s more of a collaboration than we have typically seen between these two guys in the past.

The fun that would come from a Conrad / Bell collaboration is immense given that we are speaking here about two incredibly strong-willed guys who each have a habit of saying and doing just about everything that they can in order to get their way. Their motivations are just different. For Conrad, most of the time he is actually thinking about the good of the patient. However, with Dr. Bell we often find him in a position where he is thinking a little bit more about the bottom line. He does at least still understand that the hospital has certain needs and he wants it to be successful at the main goal of saving lives — that helps his own reputation, after all. We just think that he is in for a rude awakening when he realizes that Marshall may stand in his way a little more than he realized.

This episode of The Resident is going to air on Fox come Monday night, and Conrad is going to have to wrestle with Dr. Bell to go along with his other responsibilities — and also trying to celebrate his anniversary of being a doctor, probably in a fairly low-key way. Read more about that over at the link here.
