The Resident season 2 episode 3 preview: Conrad’s anniversary

The Resident season 2When The Resident season 2 episode 3 comes onto Fox in one week’s time, there is going to be a momentous occasion for Conrad. After all, the character is getting a chance to celebrate a full three years at Chastain! This is something worthy of celebration, but at the same time, Conrad doesn’t strike us as the sort of guy who is chomping at the bit to be celebrated. He will probably try to resist this just because there are so many other priorities at the hospital. To go along with that, you’ve also got some potentially-dangerous personal situations ahead … especially for Devon, since the nature of his relationship with Julian could prove to be a problem.

Below, The Resident season 2 episode 3 synopsis offers up some other insight regarding what lies ahead:

Nic and Conrad contemplate their past when they team up to diagnose a happy husband and wife who are both admitted to the hospital with mysterious symptoms. Bell and Marshall butt heads on a work trip when their cut-throat business tactics don’t align. Meanwhile, AJ turns down a request from Bell despite Mina’s forewarning, Devon continues to gravitate to medical device rep Julian (guest star Jenna Dewan) and the staff gears up for Conrad’s three-year anniversary at Chastain in the all-new “Three Words” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, Oct. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (RES-203) (TV-14 D, V)

This episode seems to be pretty jam-packed, and given that the title here is “Three Words,” it’s easy to wonder as to what those will be. Could they prove to be “I love you”? We have to wonder ultimately if that could be the case.
