Lethal Weapon season 3 video: Seann William Scott, cast discuss Wesley Cole

If you’ve been wondering why there is so much press out there right now about Lethal Weapon season 3, it’s probably due to the fact that Fox almost has to treat this like it’s a completely new show. While the format and many of the characters are still there, you also have a very different element in the form of Wesley Cole. He’s a former CIA operative who is dangerous, thinks on his feet, and could prove to be a very valuable asset to the City of Los Angeles — if utilized properly, of course. This also is the sort of character who could have a propensity for starting trouble, as well.

In the video below, you can see what Seann William Scott (joining the show this year) and many other cast members have to say on the subject of Cole and what’s it like having him as a part of the story. It is a big change with him on board, but the goal remains the same: Trying to turn Lethal Weapon into a show that is action-packed but also funny at times and reliant on some of the characters. If you don’t like the characters, the odds are fairly low that you’re going to end up liking this show.

Let’s just hope now that Lethal Weapon season 3 finds a way to introduce him that feels organic to the world; that way, the character does not feel forced. The chemistry is going to be one of the things that causes viewers to buy into it right away; fingers crossed that they are able to find a way to do that right.

The premiere of Lethal Weapon will be here in just a week and a half! The series is back come Tuesday, September 25 on Fox.
