For the People season 2 spoilers: The Originals alum Charles Michael Davis joins

For the People season 2

If you have loved Charles Michael Davis on either Younger or The Originals, you’re going to love that he’s a part of For the People.

According to a new report coming in right now via Deadline, Davis is going to be coming to the ABC drama series as a new regular. His role is going to be that of Ted, a new investigator within the Public Defender’s office. It’s a critical role given that without people like him, it’d be impossible for them to be able to make their cases work in court. It’s also a role that generates a great deal of excitement since you get to do a wide array of things on a fairly regular basis.

One of the things that we’re the most excited about when it comes to this series is that we’re going to have a chance to see Davis back on television reasonably soon. (For the People season 2 is premiering on ABC later this season, probably in the new year.) One of the things that we hoped for many cast members of The Originals was that we wouldn’t be forced to wait all that long in order to see some of these people again. For example, we knew that Joseph Morgan was poised to star in an adaptation of Gone, Baby, Gone over at Fox, but that show didn’t end up being ordered to series. (We have already seen Phoebe Tonkin in at least one other project this summer, a brief gig on Showtime’s The Affair.)

Once we get some more news when it comes to For the People season 2, we’ll have it for you here — just be patient, given that it is going to take some time. There isn’t really a hurry.
