Prepare for The Good Doctor season 2 with this flashback video

Good Doctor episode 2 ratings

Are you ready for The Good Doctor season 2 to come on the air? We definitely know that we are, but the sad truth is that it’s still weeks away.

Well, today it seems as though ABC is trying to do its part to refresh some viewers as to some of what happened last season. The video below is very much all about the relationship between Dr. Glassman and Dr. Shaun Murphy, something that was absolutely enthralling to watch throughout the first season. The performances by Freddie Highmore and Richard Schiff were fantastic, especially as we got to the end of the season and the writers dealt a little bit more with Glassman’s cancer diagnosis and the desperation on Shaun’s part to try to figure out a way in which to help him. At the end of season 1, it seemed like Shaun figured something out … but we definitely know that there are no guarantees.

Season 2 will hopefully offer up more of a sense as to how Dr. Glassman is faring after everything that he went through — and, to go along with that, how Shaun is reacting to what is happening with him. These two guys are at the center of everything with this series and the emotional connection that they are is a big part of what makes it so compelling. We feel reasonably confident that we’re going to see plenty of these two in the months to come, but along the way they are going to have to continue to pay attention to Dr. Glassman’s condition. A cancer battle is not the sort of thing that you can just forget about and let simmer somewhere in the back of your mind.
