Save Shadowhunters update: The latest Los Angeles project
This time around, the series’ fandom is concentrating some of their efforts on Los Angeles and understandably so, given that this is one of the biggest entertainment hubs out there. If you head over to GoFundMe, you can see that there is a fundraiser going on in order to get a truck billboard to drive around Los Angeles and to park / circle a number of the major networks / streaming providers that the fans want to see consider the show. This of this as a move that is somewhat similar to the airplane banner that was hired earlier this year, except this time more on a ground level where a number of different networks can be targeted.
While we know that this will be enough in order to get the attention of some prospective broadcasters, there does still remain the question as to whether or not it will get them to change their minds. At this point, the merits of picking up the series should be fairly clear, namely in that you’ve got a show here that is extremely popular with young viewers in addition to people all over the world. Picking up the series is also potentially an asset for some of the other shows that you have — very few people tend to only watch one show and nothing else. If Hulu, for example, chose to pick up a season 4 of Shadowhunters, maybe some new subscribers could pick up and choose to watch some other series, as well.
