Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2 trailer: Is Angelina returning?
What makes things different this time? It really starts with the setting of Las Vegas, which the series has never spent too much in save for The Pauly D Project, which was the solo Pauly D-themed spin-off show. Here, it seems like there will be more partying, but also … more Angelina? It seems to be possible, as apparently Snooki had some sort of conversation with her before taking off to film the new season. While some of the other cast members seemingly protest the idea, we have a feeling that she may still somehow find her way back to the fold.
As someone who is very much within the pro-Angelina camp at this particular point, we more than welcome her coming back to the series. One of the things that this show does need is more drama and someone else to stir the pot. Since it doesn’t seem as though Sammi Giancola is coming back anytime soon, Angelina is the perfect person to bring in instead since she does have that history with the other cast members.
What’s also noteworthy here is that this season is also going to feature at least a brief return to Seaside Heights, which is the city that served as the setting for the first, third, fifth, and sixth seasons of the show. As previously reported, though, the series could not actually secure a filming permit for longer than just a few days, so it’s not going to spend all that much time there. Consider it a small dose of nostalgia before exploring some other horizons. In general, this season seems to be more mobile than some others in the past, which is fine since it really is all about the drama more so than anything else.
