Tonight on ABC, Take Two episode 6 is going to air and with that, the producers will be adding to the list of capable recurring players.
One of the people at the heart of the promo below for this episode is Piper Mannox, a bounty hunter who excels at finding a way to bring people back from unusual circumstances. Tonight, Piper is after an escaped prisoner and enlists the help of Sam and Eddie to try and find them. Given that this said prisoner has a rather-massive bounty on their head, there is probably going to be an extra-special sense of urgency to find them. This leads to Sam Swift going undercover … and in a most unusual way, since she will be pretending to be a part of the biker culture to get more information.
To date, one of the most entertaining parts of Take Two is seeing Sam go undercover, which makes sense given that she is an actress. Yet, a big part of the problem that comes with having Sam as an undercover agent is that so many people already know who she is. Take, for example, a biker recognizing her because he has a tattoo of her face on his arm. Somehow, this show does still keep finding ways in which to use Sam’s celebrity for creative twists and turns.
Also, we do hope that this episode does find a way to further things along when it comes to Sam and Eddie’s relationship, given the fact that there are clearly at least some feelings brewing there already. While Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller’s first show in Castle was able to take a little bit more time exploring some of the feelings that were there with Castle and Beckett, it’s a little harder for this show given that there’s no guarantee it will be around to do so later. So long as it stays in the summer it’s never going to have episode orders of anywhere near the same length.
