Shades of Blue season 3 episode 6 is the latest new episode airing on NBC in one week’s time, and judging from some of the early details that are out there, the story from tonight is going to carry right over. By that, we mean the attempts by Harlee and Woz to try and take down the intelligence unit. There’s an awareness on some level that they are dirty, but often, you don’t really want to think about this as a serious possibility on the force. The last thing that anyone wants to be perceived as, even in law enforcement, is a snitch. Loyalty is important, and sometimes cops do need to operate outside the lines of what is morally correct in order to make sure that the job gets done.

However, there is a pretty clear delineation between what is morally correct and all-out breaking the law by working with a dangerous organization. Basically, Harlee and Woz at the moment are in a situation where they have to think about the good of New York City as opposed to the good of the NYPD. Actually, it probably is better for the NYPD if these people are outed and taken down — it’s just going to be super-painful in the moment, especially if they are the people responsible for doing it. They are the ones, after all, who could face some steep ramifications as a result of their actions — whether it be them being targeted in the future to having some other terrible stuff happening to him.

07/22/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Sunday) : Harlee and Wozniak try to link the intelligence unit to the cartel while facing the consequences of breaking the blue wall.
