Shades of Blue season 3 episode 5 preview: Is Cristina in danger?
There are a number of different ways in which you can damage a cop in that you can take away their badge, put them in danger, or go after the people they care about the most. When it comes to this particular episode, it seems as though we’re going to see some of the people in the NYPD opt for the latter. Specifically, Ramsey may be enacting some sort of vengeance against Harlee for her investigating by putting her daughter in some trouble — the promo below features her, at least temporarily, behind bars. As you would imagine, Harlee is a little bit irate over that. There are a few different twists and turns that we anticipate this story is going to take, and that’s without really bringing into the equation Stahl or some of the specifics surrounding this past cliffhanger.
One of the biggest ways that we do look at Shades of Blue at the moment is through this particular lens: We know that earlier on in the season, Harlee was putting her neck on the line to testify against some of the corrupt cops within the NYPD — heck, she was willing to even throw herself on the line. We don’t think that the character does any of that unless she has been through some pretty-severe stuff. There is a difficult journey coming up for this character and, at least at the moment, we don’t think that we are anywhere near close to the end of it.
