The Sinner season 2 video: Jessica Biel takes you behind the scenes

The sinner season 2

The Sinner season 2 is going to be premiering on USA next month, and based on the new video below, many of the themes are still the same. Per executive producer Jessica Biel, you are looking at yet another investigation into trauma, pain, suffering, and a whole lot more. The main difference here is that you are looking through the lens of a young boy rather than a grown adult like Biel’s Cora from season 1.

Biel leads the way in the video below, and while she doesn’t have a confirmed role in season 2, it remains clear that she is still very much involved behind the scenes. Bill Pullman’s Harry Ambrose is going to be the main focus story-wise and as you see some of the episodes air, you will in turn see him potentially unravel. There’s a reason for him to be personally invested in everything that is happening here narratively, largely because of the fact that he is visiting his old hometown. These are potentially people that he knows and we know that this is a world he is familiar. As a result of that, it’s probably going to be very difficult for him seeing a case that is this chaotic play out in such a sleepy place — especially when all signs point towards this kid being guilty.

So will there be a season 3 for The Sinner? It’s probably a little too early to say that, but for the time being we do think that the show has set the stage for more now just in having a second season. The hardest struggle the show had was finding a way to make a second season. From here on out, things are going to be a little bit easier trying to come up with new ideas.
