The Originals season 5 episode 10 promo discussion: Saving Hope

The Originals

As many of you likely are aware, there is no new episode of The Originals airing tonight on The CW. This is July 4! This is a chance to get out, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate all things America for at least the remainder of the day.

While you do wait for the series to return to the air, we come with a little bit of season 5 episode 10 promo analysis. The video below has been out for almost two weeks now (it aired following the most-recent new episodes), but there are a few questions posed within it that should be unraveled.

1. Is Hope’s humanity going to be lost? – We know that there are dark forces overtaking her, and that is a serious cause for concern at this point. You can also make an argument that Klaus is the best person to adequately deal with some of this darkness, mostly because he’s had so many dark clouds within himself over the years. Yet, you can also make the case that it could be better to have an ambassador of light and goodness guide the way towards her future. It’d probably serve as more of a help.

2. Is someone going to die? – We know that Elijah may be out for a certain degree of atonement after everything that has transpired with Hope earlier this season. With that, don’t be shocked if he makes a huge sacrifice for the sake of helping her.

3. Will anyone be happy? – Well, eventually, Freya and Keelin have a chance! There’s already information out there suggesting that the upcoming July 18 episode is going to feature a wedding between these two characters that has been many years in the making.

No matter what happens, there are four episodes left — prepare for chaos the rest of the way and admittedly, we wouldn’t have it any other way at this point.
