The Originals season 5: First look at Freya – Keelin wedding

A photo that comes via Entertainment Weekly, comes specifically from the upcoming July 18 episode of the series. This should offer up a chance to have at least one happy moment within the chaos and the death that is transpiring in this final season. I almost wonder if, in some way, they were inspired to go through with this as their own way of ensuring that they have their happiness regardless of what’s happening around them. They are both likely well aware of the near-constant chaos in their lives and if something happens to them in the future, at least they’re married.

It also seems like the wedding is going to be a family affair in some way — Hope will have a role in the ceremony, and I like to think that many other Mikaelsons are going to be in attendance for the ceremony. Fingers crossed for an appearances from Rebekah — she’s not around all of the time, but as the finale gets closer with each passing week, it becomes increasingly valuable that there is a chance to see more of her. She’s important to the series endgame just because she’s someone who has been important for Klaus and company for the entirety of their lives.

Following this wedding, there are at least two additional episodes to see and learn more about the future for Freya and Keelin. Maybe these episodes will offer up a good sense as to what the remainder of their lives could be like — or, at least offer a tease amidst everything else that is happening.
