Succession episode 5 preview: Kendall’s plan

After hearing Logan’s plan to expand to local TV, Kendall begins to plot a vote of no confidence against his father. Meanwhile, Greg drives his ornery grandfather, Ewan, from Canada to New York for a Thanksgiving reunion with Logan; Tom grows increasingly concerned about the terms of his prenuptial agreement with Shiv, and recruits Greg for a clandestine task; and the family is surprised by Connor’s choice of date at Thanksgiving dinner.

Judging from the last part of the synopsis, don’t you think that at least a couple different relationships will be in jeopardy by the end of the episode?

Here’s some really good news for the show, beyond of course the simple fact that there is already a season 2 renewal over at HBO — this past episode drew in total over 600,000 live viewers, which made it the most-popular episode of Succession to date. That’s a great sign that viewers who are watching the show are enjoying it; beyond just that, it’s a sign that some people who may have been watching it via DVR are now checking it out live.
