Today, The Hunters of Shadow convention officially came to a close in Paris, and it did so with a moment that seemed to make many of the Shadowhunters cast members in attendance break down into tears.
What was it? That’s something that you can see more of in the video below, as the cast and crew had an opportunity to see many different fans from all over the world celebrate the series and the journey that everyone has been on together. There are a number of different powerful moments that you can see through here, including the cast at various conventions in addition to constant reminders that the show needs to be saved.
You can see after the fact in some photos from the convention that the entire cast was emotional and some were in tears, which is clearly another reminder that they all love the show and certainly don’t want to let it go. The effort to Save Shadowhunters has been going strong now for a good stretch of time and at this point, it only seems to picking up steam. Many fans of Lucifer, after it was saved by Netflix, have come over and are now also lending their voice to try to make some good news happen here, as well. Everyone is doing their best to work together with a single unified goal, and that is trying to make sure that there is a fourth season of the show somewhere. There aren’t any specific potential homes that we’ve heard about, but a campaign this widespread is certainly worthy of attention.
Hopefully, at some point over the coming weeks there is some good news that is handed down. Obviously, there are twelve episodes that are coming regardless of what happens with Shadowhunters finding another home, but why stop there? We’ve said this a few times in repetition now, but saving a show is an uphill battle that requires a lot of determination and, at times, a little bit of luck. Hopefully, luck is on the show’s side.
