Royal Wedding 2018: Meghan Markle’s Suits co-stars speak out
If you did not know, much of Meghan Markle’s former Suits cast members are in the United Kingdom for the proceedings, and that includes Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, and Rick Hoffman. The actors minus Adams made an appearance this week on The Today Show where they told a few stories about Meghan and their excitement to be there on the big day. Watching this interview is a very fun and also really unique experience in a lot of ways — even though we are very much used to the Suits cast react to having a certain degree of fame, this is clearly something that is out of their element and they are all somewhat in awe still of the experience.
Beyond just this, the interview also gives you a sense of how good of a person Markle truly is, including how she was there for Hoffman to be a wedding date way back when. It’s clear that the entire cast is close — otherwise, why would they make the trip overseas. While Meghan may have left the show and is retiring from acting, that bond is still there among all of them.
Also, who wants to bet that Suits is one of Prince Harry’s favorite shows?
For anyone out there wondering, Suits season 8 is going to premiere on USA this summer; meanwhile, the upcoming Gina Torres series Suits: Second City will hopefully be premiering either later this year or in early 2019. We’ve already met some of those characters via the backdoor pilot.
