STAR season 2 finale spoilers: Could Take 3 break up?

Based on some of the early information that we’ve got when it comes to STAR season 2 finale, one thing feels clear: The future of Take 3 is in serious trouble. It’s the sort of thing that almost any group runs into when they get a little bit of success. People start to become a little more arrogant and of course in the aftermath of that, it becomes harder to keep everyone happy. We can easily imagine there being a break at the end of the episode … and possibly worse.

In the end, though, we choose to believe that Take 3 is a part of the fundamental DNA for what STAR is as a series and without them at the center of everything, the story just doesn’t work as well. No matter what happens in the season 2 finale, we’re hopeful for a little more unity moving into the third season.

Below, the STAR season 2 finale synopsis offers up a little bit more insight when it comes to some of what lies ahead:

When egos clash, Take 3’s future as a group is at risk. Noah’s continued substance use jeopardizes his relationships with the people who care about him most and Simone and Angel’s relationship faces the biggest test yet. Meanwhile, Ayanna undergoes a major life change and Cassie (guest star Brandy Norwood) and Carlotta’s sibling feud comes to a head in the all-new “Thirty Days to Famous” season finale episode of STAR airing Wednesday, May 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. There’s going to continue to be a great guest cast in this episode and also a few twists … and we gotta think that one of them is going to be a cliffhanger. Given the sort of crazy ending that we had at the first half of the season, we have to imagine that something equal in craziness will happen here.
