Shadowhunters season 3 episode 11 return date for Freeform drama
Let’s kick things off, though, at least for the time being, with this: Officially as of this writing, Freeform hasn’t set any sort of official date. Yet, it’s not all that hard to speculate as to just when it could be. For starters, we have a hard time thinking that the network is going to just put the show on hiatus for a week or two before bringing it back in June. By the same token, we also don’t think that they are going to make you wait a good eight or nine months to see episodes that have already been filmed.
If we had to guess at the moment, our feeling is that Shadowhunters season 3 is going to air at some point in the fall. This would definitely be when bringing the show back would make the highest degree of sense, especially when you think about how this show seems like the perfect one for Halloween more so than just about any other out there. It’s got that sort of spookiness about it and also should fare better when the summer’s not happening and some of its fanbase is outside doing other things. Are there downsides to the fall? Certainly, mostly in that there is more competition. The good news here is that while live ratings do matter, they’re far from the only thing for a show like this that also has a rather large international following and, to go along with that, performs very well via DVR.
One way or another, let’s just hope that by the time Shadowhunters season 3 episode 11 airs that there is a season 4 renewal out there. After all, season 4 would need to start filming later this year so that it could premiere without the series taking some sort of significant hiatus.
