Blue Bloods season 8 episode 22 promo promises dramatic ending
As a matter of fact, to use the words of CBS promo guy, things are going to “end with a bang.” Make of that quote whatever you will, but all signs are pointing towards an ending that will keep you clamoring for more episodes throughout the entire summer. There are a few different reasons to have your hair standing on end after watching this.
1. There is a killer loose on the streets – Typically the guilty parties on Blue Bloods are ones who aren’t actively criminals on the run. With that in mind, the stakes here are a little bit higher than they would be otherwise.
2. Jamie and Eddie are in danger – We see Eddie firing a bullet in the promo to take someone down. While she’s doing her job and everything that she can in order to ensure that New York City is a better, safer place, at the same time you also should worry a little bit as to whether or not she is putting herself in harm’s way. Given that she was already shot once this season, the last thing that we want to see from her is to get caught up in some gunfire again.
3. Is Erin in some trouble – We do wonder that judging from the brief bit of footage we have from her in here.
There’s also a shot of a gravestone in this episode, which does in turn make us wonder if Danny is going to be visiting Linda. We don’t think there’s ever going to be a real conclusion to that story since death is something that just sticks with you. Nonetheless, we do want to see Linda and her memory continue to be acknowledged on the series for some time to come.
