Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 23 spoilers: More on Geena Davis’ return

Grey's Anatomy season 14 episode 23

Geena Davis’ return is coming onto Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 23, and in the wake of learning about Nicole Herman coming back, we now have a few more details about it.

This episode, entitled “Cold As Ice,” is going to be coming on the air Thursday, May 10. Meanwhile, the attached synopsis gives you a few more details:

One of Grey Sloan Memorial’s own is seriously injured, making the team reflect on what is truly important to them. Meanwhile, Nicole Herman pays a visit to Grey Sloan and talks to Arizona about an exciting opportunity.

This episode is going to give you a very good sense in regards to how Arizona could depart the series and obviously, there is a good bit of intrigue that goes along with that. Beyond that, though, one of the largest questions is going to be simple: Who is seriously injured? Beyond just that, is there any way in which to save them? The obvious concern at the moment is that the person who is in danger is April, given that a serious injury is the sort of thing that could write a character off of the show. We know that April is loving, enthusiastic, and passionate in regards to her job. With that in mind, we’ve got a pretty good feeling that it’s going to be something like an injury that would cause her to consider moving on. We’re just hoping that this is it, provided that she is the person injured, and we’re not building up to a storyline that could end with the character’s death.

As for Arizona, it’s clear to us that Davis’ arrival is going to be tied in some shape or form to her exit — hopefully, this is as simple as the show makes it out to be on paper. We don’t need there to be too many elaborate twists or turns coming in here and messing things up.
